Returns & Exchanges Policy

At The Mane Edit, we are committed to offering premium-quality human hair products including wigs, bundles, frontals, closures, and extensions. Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our products, all sales are final unless otherwise stated below.

By placing an order with The Mane Edit, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

All Sales Final

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Wigs

  • Hair bundles

  • Lace closures

  • Lace frontals

  • Hair extensions

  • Hair accessories

  • Sale or discounted items

Each order is carefully inspected before shipment to ensure quality standards are met.

Eligible Returns or Exchanges

Returns or exchanges may only be approved if:

  • You received the incorrect item

  • Your order arrived damaged

  • Your item has a confirmed manufacturing defect

Requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

Conditions for Approval

To qualify for an approved return or exchange:

  • Products must remain unused, unworn, and unaltered

  • Lace must remain uncut and untouched

  • Tags must still be attached

  • Original packaging must be included

  • Products must show no signs of styling, brushing, washing, coloring, installation, or cutting

Items that do not meet these requirements will be rejected and returned to the customer.

Return Authorization

Customers must contact our support team before sending any item back.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Clear photos/videos of the issue

  • Brief description of the problem

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the issue was caused directly by The Mane Edit.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued for approved claims involving:

  • Incorrect items

  • Damaged products

  • Verified manufacturing defects

If approved:

  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Processing times may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider

Exchanges

Approved exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, store credit or a refund may be offered at our discretion.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled, edited, or refunded.

Chargebacks

Customers are encouraged to contact us directly before filing a chargeback.

Fraudulent chargebacks for successfully delivered orders may be disputed using tracking confirmation and proof of delivery.
